Uptown Greenville Umbrella Market

The 2021 season has come to a close.  We look forward to seeing you again in summer 2022.

The Market will operate every Wednesday 5:00-8:00 May through August in Five Points Plaza at the corner of 5th & Evans Streets in Uptown Greenville.

At our weekly uptown farmer’s market, you’ll find fresh produce, meats, eggs, handmade arts, jewelry, antiques, homemade bath products, baked goods, wine, local craft brew, and more!

All Vendors need to register with the NC Department of Revenue.  The Account Number is required for the market application.  Click here for more information and registration links. 

Market Rules & Procedures

Pitt Co Department of Environmental Health – For on-site food preparation and sale

Department of Agriculture  and Purdue University resource – Information on home-based food businesses

Nursery Regulatory Services – Information for sellers of plants, trees, shrubs, vines, bulbs, & vegetable plants. Not required for sellers of annual plants, cut flowers, true seeds, decorative plants, and perennial plants intended for indoor use that are produced in North Carolina.

Vendor Payment Information

The Full-season fee is $130.  Full-season vendors must pay the fee prior to the first market.  The Pay-as-You-Go fee is $20 per market.  Pay-As-You-Go vendors can pay online through PayPal in advance of the market date or you can pay with check or cash to the Market Manager at the market.  If you would like to rent an Umbrella, Table, or use Electricity, additional fees apply.  Payment options will be sent by email after you have been notified by the Market Manager that you are selected as a market vendor for the season.

All vendor fees are non-refundable.
