Greenville’s St. Patrick’s Day celebrations will kick off Saturday, March 17, at 11:00 am at a Time for Science in Uptown Greenville thanks to the support of Coastal Beverage. The festivities begin with a FREE Science EXPO + a Live Music event at 729 Dickinson Avenue starting at 11:00 am.
The EXPO will feature 40 + Exhibitors with hands-on activities for learners of all ages. Attendees can expect to enjoy exhibits from The Imagination Station, Sylvan Heights Bird Park, the Aurora Fossil Museum, Morehead Planetarium, a live beehive, and more!
Celtic music by Bill Redding and Friends begins at 11 AM. The event will include live music, a grog garden, children’s activities, food trucks (Smashed Waffles, Kona Ice and Jamaican Hot Dogs), an Irish Gig provided by the NC Academy of Dance Arts, and more LIVE MUSIC!
At 12:30 pm, the “Day ‘O Green” celebration continues as the Balter Brothers take the stage. This North Carolina based band will bring a high-energy performance, delivering sounds that make you want to get up and get down! Attendees are encouraged to don their green and gold to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!
Greenville, NC’s Fire and Rescue team will be onsite with a fire truck and fire safety educational activities. Join Uptown Greenville in showing appreciation to our local fire rescue personnel with a meet and greet and fire rescue games and activities.
