Greenville, NC–Smashed Waffles, located at 718 Dickinson Avenue in Greenville, will celebrate its recent opening by inviting the public to a ribbon-cutting event Wednesday, January 10 at 11:00 a.m.

In true Smashed Waffles style, the celebration will continue that evening with A Smashing Pajama Party.  This event will feature the launching of the Nutella Hot Chocolate and a free waffle with each purchase, along with prizes to be given away throughout the evening.  However, pajamas must be worn to qualify.

“We wanted to plan something fun and unique for the folks that made this all possible,” said Hunter Harrison, co-founder of Smashed Waffles. “We can’t wait to celebrate our customers and thank them for believing in us.”

Smashed Waffles began delivering in Pitt County on December 21, 2017.  Smashed Waffles Café opened on November 16, 2017 serving savory waffles, ice cream smash-wiches, NITRO – kegged coffee, and freshly crafted, unique espresso-based lattés.

“We also have two premium roast coffees, our medium roast, Morning Mojo, and our dark roast, Blackout, both made from single-origin beans,” said Justin Cox, co-founder.

The Smashed Waffle Factory – Raleigh is set to open at 2304 Hillsborough Street in the coming weeks, and locations have been secured in Durham and Wilmington to open in 2018.

“The Greenville location will serve as the test kitchen for all new menu items,” said Cox. “We are hoping to get lots of feedback tonight on our Nutella Hot Chocolate.”

The Smashed Waffle Cafe is located at 718 Dickinson Avenue.  The hours for the café and delivery services are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.  To place an order for delivery, go to www.smashwaffles.com.
