GREENVILLE, N.C.—Up to bat for its second year, Batter Up’Town welcomes nationally touring country music artist Craig Campbell to the stage May 30th.

Join hosts Uptown Greenville, The City of Greenville, ECU, and the Greenville-Pitt County Convention and Visitors Bureau from 6-9pm at the Five Points Plaza to celebrate the success of the ECU baseball. This FREE alive-at-five event will be filled with Pirate Pride with grog, food, children’s’ activities, and country music sensation – Craig Campbell!

Packed with down-home charm and undeniable talent Craig Campbell topped the Billboard charts with singles like “Keep Them Kisses Comin’,” “Family Man,” and “Outta My Head”. Campbell has often been compared with icons like Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt, and Clint Black. From the small town of Lyons, Georgia, Campbell’s musical talent and determination crafted his music into songs that tug at heartstrings with infectious melodies.

“The City is excited to continue our expansion of entertainment options by collaborating with community partners to bring Craig Campbell to the Uptown District,” Greenville Mayor P.J. Connelly said. “It’s appropriate to have an artist of his caliber headline this special event, and  we hope the community will come out and join us for great music and a celebration of another successful ECU baseball season.”

Built on a solid bedrock of Country tradition, Campbell’s new EP “SEE YOU TRY” compliments everything the celebrated star has accomplished so far while looking to the future, highlighting the party-starting, top-shelf entertainer Campbell has become.

Join Craig Campbell and opener Mikele Buck to celebrate Eastern NC on May 30th from 6-9pm at the Five Points Plaza.
