GREENVILLE, N.C. — Coastal Fog, a homewares and design studio that offers custom finishing and creative workshops in the historic Blount-Harvey building on Evans and Fourth streets, is adding a food and kitchen market aimed at providing a gathering place for Uptown patrons.

The Market @ Coastal Fog will occupy the former space of Jefferson’s Florist in the same building.

“Offering simple, delicious and nourishing food with the highest quality sustainably sourced coffee, it will be a beacon of light for those needing replenishing,” said the Coastal Fog team, which includes Marty Vainright, Jennifer Vainright Lutz, Jordan Vainright Proctor and Julie Dietrich. “It is an uplifting venue for visitors and neighbors alike to enjoy a soulful reprieve from a busy day.”

Handmade breads, pastries, and seasonal items provide a breakfast option before work, while paninis and other lunch options will satisfy the lunch crowd. In the evening the space will be a place to wind down with a glass of wine and gourmet cheese.

There will also be a showroom displaying kitchen, home, and food products that embody the lifestyle brand of Coastal Fog, a Greenville landmark for the past seven years.

The Market @ Coastal Fog will take shape this fall, adding a new location for the community to gather and share in food and spirits and serving as a venue for special gatherings in an organic and enchanting atmosphere.
