Uptown Greenville announces Freeboot Friday, plus Game Day Shuttle Service.

GREENVILLE, N.C.— Uptown Greenville, with the generous support of Wells Fargo, is set to continue the popular pre-football game celebration, Freeboot Friday, beginning September 2, 2016 at 5:00pm at the Five Points Plaza.

In correlation with the East Carolina University home football games, Uptown Greenville will host five Freeboot Friday events: September 2, September 9, September 30, October 28 and November 11.
The fall music series, entering its 17th year, will include a variety of music styles, leading with reggae band dub Addis. Soulful and energizing, dub Addis combines intricate Ethiopian melodies with the rhythms of Reggae to create an original sound that moves both the heart and mind. Continuing the rich traditions of Ethiopian music and the legacy of the great Reggae artists, the music of dub Addis unites people of all backgrounds in a celebration of life. For over a decade dub Addis has shared their passion with the audiences. They have shared the stage with The Wailers, Steel Pulse, Arrested Development and many others.
