Immediate Release: New Lights Light Up The Dickinson Avenue Corridor Thanks to Uptown Greenville and GUC

November 18, 2015

GREENVILLE, N.C. – What better way to bring in the Holiday cheer than by lighting up our city streets! That is exactly what is happening on Dickinson Avenue all thanks to Uptown Greenville and The Greenville Utilities Commission. The downtown development organization, Uptown Greenville, secured a contract with MOSCA designs of Raleigh, NC to install the LED wide-angle warm light sets on the trees lining the Dickinson Avenue Corridor. GUC provided the electrical outlets and installation of the receptacles.

The Dickinson Avenue Corridor is flourishing with new development such as the recent opening of the Dickinson Avenue Public House, Go-Science, and the forthcoming SideWalk Development Project.

Make sure to take a look at the new lighting next time you are out and about in uptown! Greenville just got a little more vibrant.
