The Uptown Greenville Umbrella Market has officially returned this summer at Five Points Plaza for fifteen glorious weeks of fresh, creative, local fun. If you haven’t been to the Uptown Umbrella Market yet, it’s not too late to join in on the fun.
This Wednesday’s June 24 market will feature a Hot Dog Throwdown! Local chefs and market vendors compete in this tasty challenge to see who can make the best hot dog. The best part is…you’re the judge! For just $5 you can sample all of the contestants’ hot dogs and vote for your favorite.
The Hot Dog Throwdown is just one of the many exciting things the Uptown Umbrella Market has to offer. In addition to craft beer, tasty treats, handmade goods, and local, fresh produce, the market also features different live music acts each week.
The June 24 market will feature performances by Marye Amanda and the Nu Clear Twins. The Greenville Organization of Runners will also meet at the market at 6:00pm for a weekly social run open for anyone to join.
Vendors from all over Greenville will assemble at the market showcasing what our talented locals have to offer! Fresh produce, baked goods, textiles, woodwork, and more cupcakes than you can imagine are just a few of the things you can look forward to.
The Umbrella Market runs every Wednesday from 5-8pm this summer, bringing local bands, exciting events, delicious food and creative vendors to the Five Points Plaza. Stop by, grab a cold drink from our friends at Duck-Rabbit Brewery and see why it’s great to be Uptown!
